Engle Yokley is an accomplished and gifted artist whose work in oil, charcoal and watercolor delights the eye and refreshes the spirit. Falling in love with her coloring crayons as a child she has never stopped celebrating color. Engle is able to capture the “life” of a moment whether expressed as an impression, abstraction, or realistic rendering. Communicating through color and composition the moods of her work vary from serene to highly energetic and joyful.
Engle has studied in Italy, New York and Florida. She had a successful interior design business in New York City before deciding to pursue art full time. She collaborated on writing and illustrating a children’s book while teaching and living in Israel. She now resides in the United States and does commissioned work. Resume’
